I Love Jamie and Jamie Loves Pork, but not Sausage

Jamie Lauren is the cutest little lesbian Top Chef contestant ever, and on top of it all, she was cool, competent and composed on the show.  I think my respect for her is half of what causes me find her so attractive.

She’s been guest blogging for 7×7 magazine in San Francisco, and she wrote a piece on why she is passionate about pig meat.

“Why is it that I, and almost every chef friend of mine, are totally enraptured by the pig? What’s so special about pork that makes us hop on a plane to fly cross-country to eat it? I seriously couldn’t imagine working and living without pork in my life. If I couldn’t have bacon on my menu, I actually couldn’t really see a point to having a menu in the first place.”
